Maja + Edward ~ The Knot Is Tied!
What a celebration this was! Maja, who I’ve known since my first involvement with the Catholic Chaplaincy at York University, had found her prince charming, Edward. What a perfect match whom I got to witness and capture as their wedding day unfolded.
Their ceremony was bilingual: English and Croatian, given that it was also held at Our Lady Queen of Croatia Church. It was beautiful to listen to the readings in a foreign language, yet still get the gist of what it was about. The most endearing of expressions was in Maja’s face, as they did their first look before the ceremony. Edward, obviously couldn’t help radiate his love through his big smiles for his bride.
The party continued on at The Glen Erin Inn. Maja is blessed to have many nieces and nephews who made heartfelt presentations, one of which was presenting roses to her for her devotion to St. Thérèse de Lisieux. With many loved ones surrounding them on the dance floor, Edward and Maja took their first dance through the smoke machine and made for a magical rest of the evening.
Hope you enjoy reliving their wedding day with these blessed highlights!
