T.A. + D.S. ~ The Answer Is “Yes!”

At the office, Taryn and I had always enjoyed a quick chat about one of the wed­dings she either attend­ed or was part of as a brides­maid in exchange for an anec­dote (or two) about the wed­dings I had cov­ered. The time had come that it was Taryn’s turn to be in the spot­light as a bride, as her (then) fiancé {now hus­band}, Daniel, had pro­posed in a unique and roman­tic way. As part of his pro­pos­al, he had hooked the engage­ment ring around Don­ald’s col­lar. In a sense, there were two sur­pris­es in one: Don­ald being the cutest lit­tle pet cat they would first have and more impor­tant­ly, the affirmed pro­pos­al to be wed for eter­ni­ty.

Because of the many dis­cus­sions we’ve had, I had tried not to adver­tise myself … haha! yet, both Taryn and Daniel hum­bled me to be hired as their pho­tog­ra­ph­er for their wed­ding. Start­ing with their engage­ment ses­sion, we had decid­ed to start the ses­sion on the grounds of the home she grew up in. It was expan­sive: apple orchard, access to a for­est, a pond, a rus­tic shed … the set­ting could­n’t have been more per­fect. Final­ly, I got the plea­sure of meet­ing Don­ald in per­son, along with his com­pan­ion and anoth­er “addi­tion to the fam­i­ly”, Lucille, as we end­ed the ses­sion at their home.

This was cer­tain­ly a pic­ture-per­fect engage­ment ses­sion which only led to great cap­tures of their wed­ding.
