K.C. + C.C. ~ The Knot Is Tied
The wedding day had finally arrived and it was nothing short of emotional. As timing would have it, Chris and his family had lost a very dear family member so close to the wedding that tears shed were both filled with sadness and joy. I am in utmost admiration of how Karen and Chris had carried themselves throughout the day that despite the loss they acknowledged being looked after from heaven and carried on to look at each other in a promise for eternity in marriage.
It was a fall wedding and although there was a little rain, that didn’t damper the spirit of the day. The ceremony was held at Central United Church which was perfect to scoot over to the rest of Unionville for the formals. One of the highlights of the session was having the wedding party pose as mannequins in the display at Mariani’s – in collaboration with the store owner. We also went into an uncommon place for wedding formals, Update TV and Stereo, because Chris (again) knew the owners. (It’s nice to have connections, eh?!) We had fun in one of the hi-fi rooms and took photos as one of the demos projected some neat graphics.
The reception at the Shangri-La Banquet & Convention Centre was beautifully adorned. With a Chinese-Jamaican mix of cultures, this party was ready to get‑a whinin’ and dancin’! I hope you enjoy these highlights as Karen and Chris were surrounded by love from earth to heaven and back!
