Jennifer & Josh ~ plusOne

It was so great to see Jen­nifer and Josh again after a cou­ple of years of hav­ing cov­ered their wed­ding. This time, they had hired me to cap­ture the next stage of their lives … expect­ing an addi­tion to their fam­i­ly. It’s awk­ward for me to say that they had “hired” me, as I deem them as great friends. When I arrived at their place for their mater­ni­ty ses­sion, it was like catch­ing up with good ol’ friends over a cup of fresh­ly brewed coffee.

It was my first time in their beau­ti­ful home and what a great space it was in prepa­ra­tion for Baby Clark. Yes, they had no qualms about shar­ing their baby’s name before­hand, for they had deter­mined that he was to be named after Super­man’s alter-ego Clark Kent (appar­ent­ly, I was one of the few that got this reference…haha!). The nurs­ery could­n’t have been more “Clarkesque”. Look care­ful­ly at the intri­cate­ly-made quilt of super­hero icons!

Well, Jen­nifer and Josh were (are) going to be awe­some par­ents know­ing how great they work togeth­er and the nat­ur­al affec­tion they have for each oth­er. I was hum­bled when they had men­tioned at the ses­sion that they want­ed me to meet Clark so stay tuned because two months after this ses­sion, I did!
