Janice + Reggie ~ The Knot Is Tied!
This wedding was like something out of “Dirty Dancing” or perhaps “Dance with Me”, given how Janice and Reggie had met. The location … salsa dance class. As a result, their wedding ended up being quite an exquisite blend of entertainment, where their friends from the classes had displayed their talents with a couple choreographed numbers and mixing it up on the dance floor. All of their couple-dancing made my 2‑step seem like I was standing.
Janice and Reggie also brought a blend of cultures: Ghana and China. Their tea ceremony was done on the balcony of the Universal Event Space by Peter and Pauls. The afternoon was so beautiful, even the clouds appeared they were part of a movie set. After the formalities of the tea ceremony, both families exchanged uniquely decorated fans as keepsakes and a statement of becoming one big family.
For their formal shots, we went to the McMichael Art Gallery. It was a nice break from the contemporary look of the banquet hall and be immersed in greenery, antique wooden walls and birch trees.
What a wonderful wedding day this was and I hope you enjoy Janice & Reggie’s wedding day highlights.
