Grechen + Steve ~ The Knot Is Tied!
The last time I photographed Grechen was when she was a bridesmaid for Jocelyn & Linton’s wedding. I was more than happy when she contacted me to capture her upcoming big day, let alone get to meet the man of her dreams.
Their wedding day was in January so, we were all curious on how the weather was going to play out. The morning was overcast yet having to shoot the getting-ready shots indoors with Grechen, only proved to be more of an asset when I saw Steve and his groomsmen as we took photos outdoors.
The ceremony was a beautiful one at St. John’s R.C. Church and it was great to see many familiar faces from our collection of mutual friends. From there, Steve and Grechen had allowed more than enough time to get to the Jam Factory for me to scope out locations for their portrait session. Although the cold wind picked up, they both made it look effortless. I guess all that adrenaline of newly married love will keep you warm!
The Jam Factory was a perfect location for their reception. Having a wood panel interior only supported Steve’s career as an arborist. Guests had to play a charade game in order for them to kiss and it was very entertaining to see everyone come out of their shell. Yet, even moreso when the dance party began, all hats were off!
Hope you enjoy reliving Grechen and Steve’s wedding day with these highlights!
