Erin + John ~ The Answer Is “Yes!”

Meet­ing Erin & John was a result of friends sup­port­ing each oth­er. In this case, Ian Liwanag (who is a pre­ferred DJ ven­dor at the Old Mill, Toron­to), had con­tact­ed me to inquire if I was avail­able for their wed­ding. After a Skype meet­ing with Erin, the rest was his­to­ry and I’m indebt­ed to Ian for his con­stant sup­port and friend­ship.

As part of the full pack­age that Erin & John had select­ed, we had planned for their engage­ment ses­sion. This was cer­tain­ly going to be a fun one giv­en that they had giv­en me direc­tions to their cot­tage. It’s always so calm­ing being near a body of water which allowed for all of us to have a real­ly grand time.

We had made use of all the grounds and saved the best for last. Despite it being Sep­tem­ber, they real­ly want­ed the one-of-a-kind shot of jump­ing in the lake. Yes, they would only jump once … no do-overs … um, no pres­sure! I set my cam­era on burst mode; went over how they were going to jump in; I lay on my stom­ach to get a great low-angle. The count­down began. 3, 2, 1 … they were both air­borne and splash!!! That was it. All 14 frames had caught the action and how stel­lar it was.

I had such a great time with both of them that I could­n’t wait for their wed­ding day.
