Catherine + Matthew ~ The Knot Is Tied!
Being a wedding co-ordinator herself, Catherine had just planned a fluid wedding day that both her and Matthew would enjoy. And it was just that!
Knowing that I’m a solo-photographer, we planned it out that I would see her first. Spending that first hour with her and the gals in excited glee, I was able to capture all the wonderful details from the wedding dress to all the wonderful decorations her parents put up around the house. After a few candids, I had then gone to see Matthew and his henchmen get ready – who were just as excited, yet enjoyed some smooth scotch to prolong that energy for the rest of the day. When I got back to see Catherine, again, it was so wonderful to see all the ladies, ready in their dresses and ready for their first-look to see her in her wedding dress.
Both the reception and ceremony were celebrated at the Royal Ashburn Golf Club (Whitby). Couldn’t have asked for a better day for an outdoor ceremony and formal portraits. Despite there being another wedding going on, on the grounds, “our” party ended up being very jubilant, uninterrupted and dance-till-you-drop-kinda-deal! With many smiles and joyous tears, Catherine and Matthew were ready to remember this day for the rest of their lives. Thank you, Cath & Matt, for entrusting me in this important role to capture this special day.
Hope you enjoy reliving their wedding day with these highlights!
