So obviously, Day 3 was the post about the reunion, even though it’s not titled in sequence with these ones. Hehe! The reunion was a blast and I was truly privileged to have been asked to fly all the way from Toronto to capture this reunion.
And now, this is Day 4. I woke up at 5:00am to go to the 6:00pm mass at Sta. Catalina of Alexandria Church, just walking distance from where we were staying. What was beautiful about going so early was that we walked in the dark to get there but as mass had ended, and feeling refreshed from the inspiring homily, the sun was just peaking out above the palm trees revealing the rest of His creation around the town!
Finally, all rested up, we went back to the restaurant where the main event was held the previous day, for ANOTHER reunion. This time, my father was able to reunite with schoolmates from his grade school “Class of ’59”. While he was catching up with his friends, I was ecstatic to reunite with relatives on my mother’s side.
My father and his siblings have a timeshare/villa in a resort named Fontana Leisure Parks & Hotel, where we went to after lunch and were planning to stay there for a couple of nights. This, finally, was my time for some R&R (rest and relaxation)…but of course, I was still busy capturing where I R&R’d and how I R&R’d. But all in all, I did get my rest and had prepped up for a round of golf the next day which was fore-casted to be really hot.
Had I mentioned how good the food was on this trip, yet??
…it’s all about the tricycles!…
…my aunt’s other dog “Bogart”…
