Catherine + Matthew ~ The Answer Is “Yes!”
We had chatted a lot about weddings, as Catherine got her certification in wedding planning, and it was fun to talk about our experiences of weddings we’ve been to. I actually got to see her in action and work alongside her, as our mutual colleague and friend had hired her to make the wedding day run smoothly (Brittany & Kyle’s wedding). Now, it was her time.
Shortly after Catherine had announced that Matthew had proposed, it was so humbling for her to drop by my desk and ask me to be their wedding photographer. I was just as excited too because I knew that she would make the process be fluid and effortless to make it enjoyable for everyone.
First up, the engagement. Pingle’s Farm Market was the perfect place to do an autumn-themed session. You will see that we made use of all its amenities: the corn maze, the hay bales, the silos, the tractors, the pumpkins and the apple orchard. Most of all, we started at the right time of the day, as the sun set beautifully and provided that golden light to radiate this (already) loving couple.
(Catherine’s a big country music fan, so play your favourite song, as you enjoy these highlights as the wedding day is soon to come!)
