Once again, this engagement session couldn’t have been possible without the generosity and thoughtfulness of my UTGC choir-mate, Ashley — who in the past had bought sessions as gifts for her good friends: Marissa & Basel, Mandana & Daniel, Vaughn & Samantha. And with each session, I’ve met just as wonderful people as she continues to be. As we were preparing for this session, Brittany and Alex agreed to “meet” with me over a video chat. We had such a great talk and they had asked whether I would want to continue capturing their wedding! With such a request, who wouldn’t be humbled?!
Their engagement session was held in Bayfield (near Grand Bend, Ontario). I had never been in that neck of the woods and neither had my family. So we made it into a fun family trip!
Brittany and Alex were so much fun to capture. Starting with a stylized 1950s-era wardrobe, Grand Bend offered a perfect backdrop. The beach was nice and sunny and a walk through the town was like being transported back in time. And the addition of their pet chihuahuas (Dexter and Felix) made it personal and fun-loving.
We hope to visit Grand Bend again because we enjoyed our stay! Hope you delight in these highlights.
